just wondering if anyone is using a shoulder brace/support. i've seen 661 and evs make ones for moto and was wondering how uncomfortable/restrictive they are. popped my shoulder out a few times now and considering a little insurance. sucks when your 3 hours away from getting it popped back in:)

vibrations are not a problem. just had it pop out when i overcorrected in the air and landed a little hard on the *** end. wasn't even that hard. popped out again a few months later surfing. hasn't popped out since last dec but still a little sketched out when jumping. not going to stop, but still dont have a lot of faith in the shoulder.

trust me, this isn't about eliminating vibrations. when you backside a woop it will save your shoulder.

Go see the doc and get some screws in it. Problem solved, popped my shoulder out and re set it over 30 diff occasions I finally took my buddys advice and got the dang thing fixed. Best thing I have ever done :D

GRABB YOUR HAND JUST ABOVE THE THUMB PUSH DOWN AND TWIST YOUR WRIST SAVE YA A RIDE TO THE HOSPITAL LOL:eek::eek::eek:

does that grabbing your hand thing work? i should write it down and keep it in my pocket while i ride:D or maybe i should start a post on how to pop your shoulder back in. i've broken damn near everything and nothing hurts like that.

I did mine up pretty bad in McCall last year right before a 4 day trip with Burandt. Had a 661 shipped to his place and got a day and a half on the bad wing in the trees before I wimped out. Tough guy to hang with one handed. lol. Healed a week or two and finished the year with it.

The brace was very stable and secure, just need someone squared away to help you put it on. It was very comfortable especially with tight heavy weight under armor underneath. Good support and slicky movement. Good luck. EW

Well, I'm not a doctor, but I did dislocate a shoulder once upon a time. The problem is once it is back in place it needs to stay immobilized for a couple of weeks for the tendons to come back to their normal position and gain strength. If you don't, the shoulder will never regain it's strength and be succeptable to the popping out of place you are experiencing. Again, that is just how it was explained to me.
Anyway, as for your original question. I have used the evs sb-2 shoulder brace and thought it worked fine for moto so should be good for sledding too. It should help a bit, but I don't think it is a fix. http://www.bobscycle.com/search.htm?searchterm=shoulder+brace&step=2
