Should I consider an M6?

I'm looking to buy a new to me sled and I'm wondering if I should give the M6 any consideration.

I'm a pretty big guy, 6' 2" 225 pounds. My current sled is a 1998 700 RMK that has served me very well.

Would the M6 motor be an upgrade from the 700 RMK motor? I assume it would be, with almost a decade of advancing technology.

Is there that big of a difference between an M6 and an M7?

Thanks!

The M6 will be an upgrade from your rmk, but only in handling and suspension. The hp is a little less on the 600. They are a great sled, but Im converting my 600 to a 700 right now. You are a pretty big guy and I would think the 7 or 8 would be a better decision. Thats my .02

Yep, get an 8 or 1000. If you get the 6, you will end up wanting more power and after modding the 6 you could have spent the same money and gotten the 8 or 1000.

A lot of guys your size go with the 1000 you can pick up carry overs cheap from a lot of places.

1000

I'm the exact same size, weight and the 1000 is the way to go. Plus lots on the table for later.. you won't be disappointed. Torque is a biggy for us larger fellas.
Great hold-over/used prices out there right now, good luck shopping!
Enjoy the winter!!
