shocks???

I am looking to get a new set shocks for my 2011 pro rmk 163. who has any suggestions? I have the stock W\E on mine now and want to upgrade. let me know what you have and how they work.

thanks

Are you wanting to change ski shocks, rear shocks, or all 4? EXIT shocks from zbroz racing are definitely worth looking into. www.zbrozracing.com Their shocks are built very heavy duty and they valve them to your specific setup(rider weight and riding style) and they will make sure you are happy with them. The ski shocks use a triple spring rate setup to provide the smoothest action all the way through the stroke yet still provide excellent bottoming resistance.

There are some really good threads on this topic under the Pro section, go check them out. I say Exit's or Raptors. So much better than Fox IMO.

4

Yea Matt I am looking to change all 4. I had the front 2 get some slight damage this year. I put on the ZBROZ 38.5 A-Arms already, and like them. I have been looking at the exit but wondering if they are worth it.

I did the Holz upgrade before it was ever on snow, completely satisfied in all conditions including 4' bumps.

Definitely worth it! EXITs will be the first change when my sled gets here next season. I see you're in CO, I'd be happy to try meeting up and you can ride my sled and get a feel for the shocks.

Cool.

That would be good to see how they ride. I Turbo'd mine about a month ago and with the extra power I find myself in some positions that require a little help :) I spend most of my riding time at Rabbit Ears, Spring Creek and Jones Pass. I try to ride Grand Messa 1 or 2 times a year.

If those shocks survive your riding and jumping they must be good!!

For those looking for a less expensive option:

For my weight (175 lbs), I couldn't get the stock WE shocks soft enough without the spring coming out of the retainer. I found some stock floats from an M8. They the right length, and are a dime a dozen these days. Fastrax pressed in some of the spherical Polaris eyelets for me. The Pro is lighter up front than the M8, so I found I can run them at lower pressure than you can on an M8, and I ended up with a nice plush ride that won't bottom out.

I run without a swaybar at about 45 lbs. Obviously you can run them a bit softer yet with the swaybar in.
