shipping a kit, where won't cost a fortune?

Looking to have a kit shipped, must be picked up in rural Colorado.

All the quotes I have got are extremely expensive IMO.

Fedex $1,200
LTL freight without pick up $600+ I HAVE TO HAVE PICKUP.
Uship - no bids, auction has been live 48hrs.
Motorcycle freight companys - wont touch it.


Best I've found is SALA but again, don't think they can pick up for the quoted price.

Looking like it will be cheapest to drive to colorado, get a hotel and drive home.

I shipped through Estes Express Lines from Utah to Washington for $250
200lb weight / 33x78x40 pallet

I have a great tip for you. It's a bit weird but I've used it many times with great results. The company fastenal has stores all over the country. They offer a shipping service called 3PL or third party logistics. They can only ship store to store, but they don't mind odd shaped objects. They may want it on a pallet. Call them up for a quote.

Fastenal ended up being the cheapest option but wouldn't work for my situation since the seller was unwilling to crate it and drop it at a fastenal. Ended up finding a friend of a friend to haul it for me.
