i noticed a few people talking about shiping a sled when they buy one. i no driving to get it is prob cheaper. but does any one no what shipid a sled goes for? must be a lot.

Depends on how far it is shipped. Also depends on were it is delivered too.
The first, last and only time I looked into it, it was to ship 2 sleds from Phoenix to Minneapolis (the most convienent freight hub near Northern WI).
The best I found was about $400/sled and this was 4 years ago.
WOuld've cost me $1600 to ship 2 sleds round trip, I had to crate them, and still needed to tow them from MSP to the northwoods. I decided to rent sleds.
SOme places wanted almost $800/sled each way.

If you leave them on the trailer you can get an open car hauler to take them. I shipped 2 Seadoos from Miami to Los Angeles for $1000 and it only took 2 days.
