Shin/knee guard question

I like the hard shell kind. The soft ones can be restrictive and get uncomfortable for me. I am not that picky on which brand but i try and get them so the bottom of the shin guard rests on the top of my boot. Pretty much forget they are on.All our sleds have Airframes and taking a one of those traction screws to the knee or shin would cause a lot of damage.I am using the Asteric II knee braces now most of the time because i need more than just a knee/shin guard but the hard shell ones worked great for me.
