SERVICE BULLETIN: Embedded Map GPS Download & Update Procedure for 10.25" Display

Are any of you losing your track when you shut off the machine, I have had this happen several times. Not good if you are relying on your track to get you out of an area when the weather turns nasty.
Mine does it every time I am out. I let skidoo know numerous times with no reply.

I used to lose ALL of my breadcrumbs.
Now after the latest round of updates and NOT using the BRP-GO app, it seems to be keeping all of them.

What type of update tho? Gauge or maps? Mine is still the 3.0.1 or whatever it is.

im really having a problem with this for the price its ****, but i keep trying, it has not put down breadcrumbs for a full ride, sometimes it shows the trails that are downloaded, the next day they are not there, i wish there was a better tutorial , i run the brp go app, turn it on plug my phone in the dash, i have the maps downloaded for the area im riding, very frustrating all up to date on updates

Just did a week straight of riding. Lost every breadcrumb. Even a long break on the hill and it deletes the track. Totally useless to depend on for navigation. I’m running the embedded maps with the latest update. If I plug my phone in it goes back to dropping the connection, endless attempts to reconnect and sync with BRP go, and when I’m not in service it doesn’t work. I end up needing to disconnect my phone and force it to go back to the embedded maps. I don’t even waste time with the gauge anymore and went back to Gaia with the high resolution sat imagery and topo with slope angle overlay.

I don't use the 10.25 display for logging or recording rides, but I do find myself using the Day's Breadcrumb trail more and more.
And it seems pretty reliable over the course of the full day.
I have not been losing any breadcrumbs of late and absolutely find myself going deeper and deeper into the back woods as a result of knowing I have a relatively easy way to get back out now.

I just realized there is either a decent design flaw in the go app, or I am not doing this correctly.

I seems you cannot input GPS coordinates into to the search on the BRP go app.
