Went for a road ride the other day out at segelson and found these guys a mile or two past the snopark... it's one thing to blaze past the "no wheeled vehicles" sign in your truck, it's another to get stuck back there and ask passing snowmobilers for help getting out..

Doesnt help that there is no flipping sign and the berm is blown down. I found tracks miles in. Whats going on up there??

There was a sign, we took the liberty of putting it right in the middle of the road so they couldn't miss it on the way down :-)
First time there in the snow and during the daytime, place looks like it would've been sweet like 10-15 years ago lol, not much going on now. I was bottomless Monday so still fun
As far as what's going on with the truck, open difs, ****ty tires and alcohol

More like twenty years ago, had the place to myself five Saturday's in a row in 1995, the trees have sure grown since then.
Two seasons ago we ran into five rigs at the top of Segelson at the helicopter pad, good people, but shouldn't have been there.

Thats awesome, I would love to see some pictures if you have any available.
I don't know what it is about that place that attracts so many wheelers, there's a thousand logging roads in and around Darrington and everybody seems to pick the one with the sno-park.

another way out

One reason could be if the snow conditions are right you can come out on upper finney Rd. if the snow is set up. After sled season was over on year I drove my truck up over Iron Mountain to upper finney,,, I barely made it and swore I would never do it again...

1995, first sled, bought two weeks prior, a buddy and I
rode doubled up with a half rack of Rainer beer five weeks in a row and learned how to ride, fresh tracks each time.

I had a Formula Z with I think it was a 1 3/4 or 2 inch paddle track on the 121 track... I thought I could go anywhere...that is until the long tracks came out (you know the 136 tracks) and then I had to get the "Long track"... thanks for sharing
