Right now I have a few ideas about building another sled, but in order to do so I would have to sell 1 of my 900's.. What do you guys think would be the best way to net the most amount of money?? I know these sleds dont sell for a whole lot while in 1 piece and people are always needing parts, but do you think you could bring the same money if not more if the sled was completely parted out?? Parting out takes longer which I know because I have done a partial one, but if it makes it easier to sell it could be the best option... Kind of an odd question, but what are all your thoughts on this??:face-icon-small-coo

Try it whole on E-Bay and the Swapmeet etc for a week and then if you do not sell start parting it out. Thought you could swap jugs on 05 to make an 06?

part it out, i totaled my 900 out and i wish i would have bought it back from the ins. company and done that. the parts are worth more separate to the right people than all together.

I guess I will try and sell the motor first and see how that goes then.. If its gone then so will the rest, but will try the big stuff first.. Maybe I will list it both ways and see which way goes first..:face-icon-small-hap

I watched a guy that parted out a "wrecked" one (keep in mind he had busted up 3/4 front) and he posted every ad on Ebay and I put them ALL on my watch list. When it ended up he grossed over 5k! and remember he was missing a good rear skid and one side of suspension. BUT he broke it down to the knats azz.

Good idea.. Maybe I will look into it.. There are a lot of parts on there now, but not selling..:face-icon-small-con
