Nothing too special about the pics... I am uploading a couple vids I took of you though. and have quite a bit of helmet cam footage to look at to see if I got anything worth sharing.:face-icon-small-hap

What I really want know is, how did the M7 do?

It did good, that new 2.6 Powerclaw track sure helped it out... the weak point now is just facing facts that its only got a 700 in it... it just doesn't have the power and torque of the larger displacement sleds. All in all, it did pretty good for the conditions.

were you guys able to get into pine grass? tried a couple of different paths but couldn't find our way into it

Do you mean up on top of the plateau? Ya, we broke trail all the way to the lookout and over to the north end too... the wind was blowing pretty good so there was only about a foot on the top once you got out of the trees, the snow at the main climb was deeper. The snow drifts have grown a LOT since last weekend... that one I was stuck on in the pic has probably grown 5 ft in the last 7 days!

We followed some tracks for about a quarter mile up from the turnoff on the way up top but then they stopped, was that you guys?

I've been up that trail probably 30 times in the last 6 years and it's still a little tricky to remember which trees to turn at when I have to break it open. Isn't it wierd how so many trees look so similar?:face-icon-small-sho:face-icon-small-hap

our longest attempt was the trail past the tree stand. The guy I ride with knows the area pretty good. He got into some drifts and came back, said same thing trees have grown and not as much snow makes things look different. not much room for error. he felt like we were close.

Who needs a trail, I just ride until I get there and then guess what...I'm there.:face-icon-small-ton

I know exactly where that was taken from..... My question to you is When was that taken?

We were up there Saturday playing and exploring, but I never rode over to look at 'your' spot.

I don't think you know EXACTLY where that pic was taken. You're close but I'm guessing you are not exactly right. "You & I" have been close to there, but where Casey and I went is a little bit different. LOL Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well I use the term "trail" loosely in this instance.... as you know much of that area is so thick that you're rubbing tree branches every 5 seconds. Also the path does change a bit as the snow gets deeper and the trees take over.

I forgot to turn the camera on for the trip up, but here's a clip from my return back down to see where the heck Mark and Mike were at... I was surprised they didn't catch up to me when I arrived at the last bench so I turned around to go look.
