Seattle Area April Riding

I posted this in general and was suggested I post it here in the WA section.

I am going to be in the Seattle area to welcome a friend home from Afghan. I am thinking based upon fellow SW's whom have been deployed to give my friend a few days to adjust to home life after I greet him and his unit at that airport. So I will have a few extra days in the area, rather than spend them at the bar around seatle, I would rather hit the mountains and ride if possible. Loooking to find a rental place that is somewhat close to seattle, am open to the drive time as I may have 2-3 days. So a half days drive is fine.
Info on rental places would be great, I may have a first timer with me, but unsure. Also may have one or two of the guys coming home. I know this is early to make sure fire comment on, but any info I can get early so that I can set up now would be great.

Thanks again to Yamadog, Articboy, 1Fast68, and Soccerd for the info on the general thread. I know we can not predict how late the season will go but if I can know how many and whom are the places now it woudl be great.

Thanks

Saw the thread in General... Yep, shouldn't be a problem finding 'tour' guides. From Seattle, there's great riding within a couple/few hours in three directions.... have to work on the rentals/loaners....

Easton Rentals (less than 2hrs east of Seattle)

If there is snow still left---Shawn at Cascade playtime at the Last Resort--Just past Ronald,wa. has lots of rentals.

Finding a guide as well is real easy--we up here are always glad to take a fellow snowester riding!!

H20SKE...

Thanks that is the information I was looking for. I have added Easton rental and Cascade Playtime to my list of places to check into as the date gets closer. Thanks to Good to Go and H20SKE, for the info.

I knew I could count on fellow SW's for the info I needed. I will be sure and update this thread once I have the dates I will be there. Knowing someone will be riding that day, hopefully let me tag along.

Thanks again

NO Neeed to rent........I've always got a few extra sleds for those that have served our country......PM me......

Honestly I do not know how to respond to that offer. That is the most honest decent thing I have seen anywhere. I may take you up on that once I hear back from my friend the team leader as I just sent them all some summer sucks gear. If I hear back how many are winter sports enthusiasts I may be in touch. I was only looking for myself, but to ride with a real set of hero's. I may pm christopher and have snowest document it. In my mind our heroes coming home to snowmobile is an article any mag and newspaper should pick up.

I would also help with mountain sleds and guiding with LCE - Bob. Just keep us posted and we will take care of the rest, mid week is fine if that's all you can pull off for your time here. Eric

these west coast guys ain't so bad at all.

:beer; for ya if I ever come out that way....warning it will most likely be from Olympia or named after a mountain.

We can get you on the mountain

There is a pretty large group of us that work here on Ft. Lewis and ride. I know that between us and fellow Snowesterners we can get you on sleds and on the mountain. As we get closer to April we can have a good idea on the snow pack and work out the plans. Heck, I'll bet there will be so many people that want to come along it will be like a snow bound parade:)

We are here to serve those who serve for us!

Maybe somebody with connections can get the guy an autographed copy of the ladies ride calendar?? Just saying... :o

hello my name is Adam. Im an experienced snowmobiler from the North East{upstate n.y.}. I am currently stationed over in Silverdale, WA.
