the hillcross was fun this weekend. had a great turn out both days. around 100 plus hill crossers signed up and i would def. say that phil had the fastest sled on the mtn if it wasnt for his helix breaking in half he probably would have taken me in the final (he smoked me on saturday). i had some issues saturday breaking limiter straps... ended up using jeff's (skidoo) limiter straps and they worked great. here's a couple pics and a video of the 800 mod final. also have to throw in that on phil's third race saturday he was in third coming out of the last corner w/ the leader half way up the hill and his turbo spooled up and he passed the guy before the finish line at 90+mph it was unreal!

Was good to see the races return, was the announcing any better on sunday?. I don't mean to be critical but the announcing on sat. left something to be desired, would think w/that kind of turn-out they could of hired someone. Seemed to be the only real complaint, that and the down time between heats/races sat. but all in all good times.

Thanks for showing up to watch the races. Sorry about the announcing, that was my "niece" filling in for the original person who could not make it due to a family emerg. It was her first time she has ever done it. We had the announcer from the "Jackson hole Hillclimb" maybe next year he will be able to show up.

Thanks for showing up to watch the races. Sorry about the announcing, that was my "niece" filling in for the original person who could not make it due to a family emerg. It was her first time she has ever done it. We had the announcer from the "Jackson hole Hillclimb" maybe next year he will be able to show up.

I was surprised Jesica (isn't that who you are refering to?) wasn't racing. No need to appologize, takes alot of guts to get up there and do what needs done. Hope to see another good turn-out next year.

Ya, that was Jessica I am her Uncle. She is still hurt from a crash this season, so she chose not to race. Again thanks for showing up next year it is going to be alot bigger and better.
