had a great weekend of riding the south. Got a little bit of fresh but like the rest of the state the last storm just didn't deliver. Luckily tons of untracked trees to play in!

Hooked up with Dragonman and ikecandooit (sp) and their friend Paul. It was a sunny weekend and we had some funny misadventures along the way.

Skibreeze jumped then rolled then rodeo'd his sled (all caught on video)! Will upload it today.

We also went down this steep and tight drainage the led us over a 16 foot "waterfall". Luckily it was a blind drop that you coudn't see until it was too late :eek:. Got some decent footage of Treeline going offand slamming into the pit at the bottom. He got bucked off and his sled ghostrode up a tree and did a sweet piroette (sp) in the air :beer;

All in all is was just a fun time. Met some new peeps and rode some new areas...sounds like a win win to me!

:beer;

pics and vid should be up later

ps..........bushy you missed a great weekend of riding :(

So is it Dave's goal to blow up a motor every other weekend, you said that he was gonna squeak her next weekend? Has he figured out why it keeps blowing?

I guess he now thinks it may have been the fuel pickup? Sucking in air on the hillclimbs and causing it to go lean? He sure has the can do attitude though!

Sorry I missed the boondockin adventure. Def tree ridin times. Is that Johnny Knoxville on Dave's sled???? Nice air! Somethings gotta be bent!

I think that I finally got it figured out, I had multiple issues. The voltage regulator was possibly faulty, the ECU was bad. Those were replaced on friday and it ran great until late in the day Saturday. Once it got to 1/2 tank or less and I started climbing steeper slopes, it would sometimes lean out on the o2 guage. Once we refilled it, the problem was gone and I rode all day with no lean events. I even ran it at WOT across a meadow twice as long as the one by the R/E lot, 5 times back and forth and it never went lean. Went up and down some really long hills and climbs and not one lean event. There are 2 pickups in the tank, 1 in front and 1 in back. When it's above fuel level it is supposed to close and pick up fuel from the other. The front 1 must not be closing properly all the time. I'm sure that once the fuel pump assembly is replaced, I won't have to wrench every single week. That should give me more time to work on my riding abilities.:eek:
