even weirder for me not being there! Gotta put some family time in before we take off on the 12th for 10 days!!! wohooo...looks like storms the whole way too!!!

sure you can't tag along dave?

Sounds like you guys were, as usual, able to get into some good snow and have a blast. Sorry to hear about the sled whats the total damage going to be....same as the last :(

least your getting good at tearing it down!

Had a great time last weekend. Dave and I found some great snow. Sorry no pics left camera in the truck. Glad we brought the backup, will have to bring it until it sells:D

picked up a helmet cam that ties into my digital camcorder...going to be making some sweet POV vids now!

Big road trip in the morning with Boondock....heading out to California and Utah to sled for 10 days!!!!

Pics and vids to come...

SOCOCREW invasion!!

We are back! 9/ 10 days of riding! None stop with the deepest snow we have ever ridden! Pics and vids to come

Thanks to the Cali and Utah crew :beer;:beer;:beer;

The rest of the SoCo crew headed down south as usual and had a blast tearing up a bunch of untracked. I had more piston issues Saturday, so the day ended early. I ended up tearing the motor down in the trailer and doing the "wax on wax off" wet sanding the jug and one piston and then putting it back together. Managed to put 60 miles on it today, doing nothing but 1/2 to 3/4 throttle most of the day. For some reason it can't get enough fuel on long full throttle pulls to avoid scuffing the pistons.

Boston racing and his buddy, Angelo hooked up with us and we showed them the ride they won't soon be forgetting. Good riding and meeting both of you. My cousin, Jeremy is killing it for his 3rd time out riding with us. Treeline is loving the new M8, that sled rocks. Neither Tom or I can wait to have our driver back, I hate driving that friggin far.

Pics to come.

We must have just missed you guys last weekend. We didn't pull into the lot till 1030 ish. slackers... That was as crowded as I have seen that lot in a long time especially for the snow quality... How did you guys like the dood on the 4 wheeler with tracks trenching the crap out of the trail? We seen he made it all the way out to the cabin....

That is a local dude...dang his name escapes me right now. He has been out there just about every week this year. We bumped it him at the lot one sunday and he was just heading back in. He uses the cabin but also has a snow cave about 6 miles up that they stay in :eek: They seriously dug a snow cave and one of the guys stayed in it for over a week!

Roads all plowed now so it doesn't matter :)

Nice. They were staying in their trailor this weekend. I can't believe the quad went where it did. Didn't look like fun tho. When's the next trip? We gotsta hook up and hit it one of these days... ears tomorrow... late

gotta skip a weekend with some family obligations but will be back at it next week. Need to get back on schedule! ;)

Going to take the 5th wheel up to the ears for the spring fling too!

road the south this weekend with treeline. First day was a cluster F with getting some weights changed on Toms sled and driving thru weather we started heading up the road at around 11:30

It was deep on the road up we were starting to get worried as we got into 8+ inches and was getting deeper by the mile. With 10 miles to go the knuckles started turning a little white.

Just when it was getting deep and slippery a grader appeared around the corner coming down from the top. Back on terra firm we thought surely it would be smooth sailing. Then a rock tore thru one of my rear studded tires. Damn Got that swapped out then headed to the top.

Snow was great with almost 2 feet of fresh but it was storming hard and visibility was bad to no good! We still put in a good ride and knew Sunday was going to be epic.

Rode sunday and hooked up with Mr. Bill aka Wild Bill aka hijacker Bill. We banged a bunch of tree climbs and dranigages and got into some really great snow. Bill and I double dropped a decent cornice on a nice steep. Just as my ski went off the cornice broke off and fell with/behind us. Treeline grabbed a sweet pic(post it tonight!) and we raced away. I never thought I would shoot into some trees so fast to get away from some snow but it was actually a small avy and we were never in any danger.

That Bill sure can ride..no helmet and no seat! Well we pounded those hills till about 4 and then headed back home. Great weekend with some great snow and great riders...what more could a fella ask for!

Lol, that crazy mofo is a legend! Hope I can ride like that when I'm....wait, i can't ride like that now! Glad you got your snow! Wish we had gotten ours! Maybe this next storm will pan out.

This year has been an adventure one way or another. I guess tires are cheaper than pistons. ;) Glad you guys had fun, it was no fun staying home to work while you were playing in the deep stuff.

Still waiting for the latest pics.

NIce shots treeline.

It broke right when I came up to the edge. I could totaly see the fracture and see it start to fall away under me. I had plenty of speed so I was in front of it but you can see Bill is right in it.

It was a cool little rush..

Great day of riding. Wild Bill took us up some crazy drainages. Found some new areas. Wish I would have took some more pics. Looking forward to this weekend:D:beer;
