Saying Goodbye

As in all sleds dealer support is important. I was so pissed off at cat last year I scrapped my m1000sp that I had bought new. Sled had a ecm issue from day one and after the warranty expired they finally admitted it. I crushed the ecm and parted the sled completely. Here I am giving a cat one more chance. My guess is you will be back on a cat next season. By the way nice sled. rode it acrooss the lake and back. Figured if it made it 2 miles on open water I could chance trailering to the hills. Fred.

your insane Fred!!! I would never ride that thing on water with that BDX intake on it! watched my friend bog right down and sink with that intake, though he was running twins and that cooled down fast and the boooooggggg. sink. :(

How'd that MANLY torsion spring do on her in the water? Nice back shift? ha ha. Your gonna like her. I definitely spent heaps of time dialing her in. I learned a ton too.

Glad i could help so many with my info.

In the end i was happy with my 1000, but it just pissed me off that i had to spend so much of my own time and money to dial in a factory problem and Cat NEVER stepped up to help me. Pretty bullchit after buying so many cats in a row. i offered to give all my info to Cat to help with the problem too, but there engineers were beotches and didn't even want to know what i researched and found. Kind of arrogant and i had the ear of some pretty top level dudes.

perhaps i will be back if Cat comes out with something ground breaking next year. probably gonna stick to the Doo for two season though as i found one with two years bumper to bumper warranty for a steal w/ 7 miles on her. gonna spend the mod money on suspension and clutching and leave the motor alone this time. Helped my friend dial one in last year and i can side hill that sled pretty dang good too and that's with only a few 10 minute rides. Not as easy as the cat, but overall not horrible. Nothing sidehills like an M though!

As we learned with all these sleds, its all in the setup! :D

I still feel like a stranger in the Doo section, so i will be lurking here for awhile! ha ha.

See ya around!
