Say a prayer for my buddy Troy Rose

God speed Troy, prayers everday for you to get stronger my friend, I was one of the lucky ones two weeks ago that pile drived a tree, could have easily been in your situation. Prayers Red Dog.

Great day!

We finally got Troys sled put back together and gave it back to him yesterday. He had no idea that we were rebuilding it. I wish I'd have got a pic of the look on his face when I rolled up with it. :D We did get a couple of phone shots. As you can see he is well enough to climb up on the trailer and sit on his sled. He even felt well enough to have one beer with us! Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers! Also, a HUGE thanks to Shane (76FOMOCO) for the great deals on the parts we needed (bulkhead, hood, bumper, belly pan & steering post) and being willing to hold the hood until we worked up the coin to pay him for it!

You guys are awesome friends!

A guy couldn't ask for better friends! you guys are AWESOME!!!

Wow, glad he's doing ok. Hope for a quick recovery.

Get rid of the gold finger. 3 years ago on my dads 900 cat he caught his left hand throttle on his coat sleeve when he was unloading the sled out of his trailer inside his shop. There was black marks on the floor form the track spinning all the way across it, $4800 damage to the sled, hit his woodstove and pushed it completely through the wall. About $2500 to the shop. Dad had a concussion, some stitches and was pretty sore.

Bottom line is, Left Handed Throttles are dangerous and you don't need them

atta boy Troy, jumpin back on that horse. Glad to see the recovery is going well. I echo the talk about trashing the lefty. Just about killed my self first ride of the year in Revy when a branch bent the bottom plate up and pinned my turbo RT wide open. 4 feet of fresh pow is all that saved me.
