Hope the best for him. He is lucky to be able to move hands and feet. Thats one good reason to ditch the gold finger. Never have the go and the slow on the same side.

He is still sedated and on the respirator. The surgery went well but they will be going back in tomorrow to fuse L5 that was broken as well. We are hoping that he gets the tube out after that. He wakes up every once in a while and thrashes around, doc says that is good.

I will be setting up an account at Wells Fargo today and I will post that info. He is a heavy equipment operator and will be out for a while. He has two boys that he loves to ride with and will need all the help he can get.

His surgery today went real well and they are saying that he could be off the respirator in 24-36 hours. Great news!

Mindy, Wells Fargo and I are going to part ways after 20+ years if they don't have one set up by the end of the day. I am starting to think that a pay-pal account may be the way to go. Never done this before so I am learinng it isn't as easy as I thought it would be. Anyone care to give me any advice on this?

Troy is doing pretty well. Still on the vent but lucid enough that he doesn't want anyone in the room. He is a tough guy and I hope that soon his body decides it doesn't need help to breath. I've got a few good jokes I'd like to tell him.

PayPal...they tell me that the account will be "reveiwed" in the next 24 hours and we should be set up. The problem seems to be that the account that was set up in his name was set up as a donation account that no funds would extracted from except by him. PayPal seems to have issues with that. I'll get it set up but I seem to be at their mercy right now. You can still donate at any Wells Fargo branch. The account # is 7319201351. The name on the account is Troy Rose Donation.

My prayers are with him as well. TO give him hope maybe my story will help. April 1, 2008, as in April FOOLS day, I went for the last Powder ride of the year with 12-18" of new snow & sun at rabbit ears. Clouds came in, light went flat and I put my dragon in a creek/sink hole. 40 mph to zero in about 1 foot. I sheared my c-2 vertebray in two. After about 9 days in a halo I had surgury on the 11th. They fused my c1, c2 & c3 together. it's now 2 weeks later & I am up, about, have no spinal/nerve damage and feel pretty decent. Tell him to hang in there & get well soon!
