Please say a prayer for my buddy Troy Rose

Center-punched a tree at 2:00 yesterday and fractured his neck. He also has some bleeding on the brain and is in surgery right now. He has feeling and can move his hands & feet so that is good news. He can use all the prayers he can get.

Thanks to Justin and the rest of the Life Flight crew that got him out quick.

John... hope all goes well for your friend. They can do some amazing things when it comes to spine and head injuries. Having people with him that knew what to do possibly made all the difference in the world.

He is still in surgery. He broke C1, 2, 3 & 4. C2 is shattered. They are fusing them. He is very lucky to be alive and even more so to still have movement.

He is not a forum member but does visit.

We were riding the trees on the ridge just east of the Scott Mtn lookout and think that he went for the brake and grabbed his new Goldfiner. He was bringing up the rear so nobody saw it but there was at least a 15' trench leading to the tree so he was probably wide open when he hit. Very bad deal.
