Sarah, the idea is to ANSWER the question...

I especially loved how biden spouted off about how bankruptcy judges should be able to decide how much people should owe on their houses. What? yeah that would be good for America. 300 million people live in America and this is the best we have?

Didn't get to watch all the debate but from what I saw Palin was doing great.

You mean besides those that vote only along the party line? I am still undecided.....

Undecided as in whether to get a absentee ballot or to actually go vote for Obama?

If a person does not know who they are voting for by now they are living under a rock. In order for me to vote along party lines that would require me to join a party. I have no problem voting for a person who calls them self a democrat if they are better than the other options. There are some Republicans that I would never vote for, no matter what they call themselves.

I remember hearing on the radio for the first time about the attack on Pearl Harbor. The [main stream media] was some different then. I wonder how they would spin it now. Sarah Palin is indeed a breath of fresh air.

Don't most of us all really know who we want to vote for based on what is important to each of us?

The MEDIA decides what is important to us. The MEDIA has decided this election. Have you seen equal time of both parties on the "stories" they run??? Clearly a one sided deal.

Or like black people that only vote for Obama because he is black? Or women that only supported Hillary (or Palin) because they are women? Or ...

I don't need to see a debate to know that there will never be a candidate conservative enough for the issues that are important to me, so I will vote for the candidate that agrees the most with my issues. Pretty simple in my book.

Less of two evils is usually my position. Wish it weren't the case, but federal government in most cases is doing a lot of things I do not support, and that is true for both of the major parties.

And if the Libertarian party didn't have such BS ideas on public land, I could actually get behind their cause (although I do think in this race it would be a vote for Obama).

Oh I can tell you what they would say.
"The evil republicans led by the war mongering Bush were handed a defeat today with a small group of misunderstood japanese freedom loving activists arrived in hawaii.

News at 10."

LOL thats how i kinda seen it ! both had there moments and she did good (avoiding questions )i think that biden held back alot ! he could have mopped the floor with her but held his tounge ! just what i thought ! palin did good though !they trained her well this week ( better than expected )!!!
mike:D

i heard no answer on how her administration would be any different from the current one...

Did you actually come up with that, or are you just regurgitating what the liberal media, and a Democratic Sentor were spewing?

Then you weren't listening.

Face it, most people hear what they want.

I enjoyed the closing comment from Tom Brokaw. "...the democrats are happy there is only one VP debate". LMAO, coming from him.

I actually think that people have no idea how to comprehend and process grammar any more. You cant make assumptions of what you think the candidate was trying to say. You need to listen to the actual words and sentences and apply them in context based on the subject at hand.

I watched the whole debate, and I like to think I paid pretty close attention. But it seems like some people were watching a completely different debate, with the same two candidates in a different demension or something.

I'll I heard was Palin ramble around just like in the other interviews.

I think right now with out coaching, my 8th grade son could give a better more concise answer to the same questions she was asked.

If someone asks you what is you favorite color is. You dont answer "My favorite color is also like Milk and also dairy, it gives me also energy also like the Maverick I also am. Also!!!

Things was like having wisdom teeth pulled with out any novacain.

I can't wait till SNL this week.

Cmantle,

Your way smarter than this stupid attack...answering direct questions is not what happens in debates...

Palin did a great job not allowing herself to get set up by some of the stupid questions positioned the way they were...

does she talk around issues yes, did she show relevance yes, did she show an ability to hang with a guy who has been in DC since she was in primary school yes...

Man. I hope I can find a wife that looks like that at 44 after 5 kids. She is a good looking woman!

I think she done fairly well in the debate. Better off answering a question that wasnt asked than bumbling on the mods question right? I hate to say it, but I was impressed with Biden too. I guess it doesnt really matter either way though......cause Im from Canada eh?
