Sandals Jamaica trip...help angle for better deals??

We have been going to Jamaica Sandals now every 3 years since the early 90's. The trips have been for the most part always within reason for pricing. Now we goto book the trip for next year and find they have spiked the price by near 25% from two years ago. I know things go up but logic here tells me........Slow economy first thing peeps would cut is trips like this. So what gives?

I know some of you on here know alot about stuff like this so if you have any advice to a new angle to go on here besides a travel agent please let me know.

We went to a Sandals in Antiqua in 1997. Was GREAT. Lots O booze. BUT yeah, the prices are going up.

We haven't gone on a trip like that since then (honeymoon)...we have been talking about going to Carib in late March or early April.

REALLY wanna go. Gettin the itch.

Got married on the beach in Antigua at the Sandals resort back in 2003. Really wasn't too impressed especially when I had to pay for water at a 5 star resort.
