RT 1000 Short Track

I know this will sound weird but....

I think I want to make an 05 1000 into a trail sled. I have an 05 with 900 miles that I wanted to sell - cannot seem to sell it. I though maybe I could put a 144 on it and sell it as a trail sled. What would be involved - I have never shortened a track - always gone longer. I assume I would just need new skids and a new track?? Anyone have any ideas. The sled runs great but the market share for a big mountain sled in so small.

This would be a fairly easy project. 144" track/rails, shorten tunnel extension, or replace with Renegade length tunnel extension. Add a wide front susp. complete with high performance shocks front and rear. Power adders for the motor, clutching/gearing and let 'er rip!
