rt 1000 in xp

I went with the 162 version of the track because i still jump my RT quite a bit and did not want to put out money for the rails and tunnel extension. Im sure the RT would pull the 174" track fine though to. Its amazing how much lighter this track makes the sled feel even though its not. It seems as soon as you walk into the throttle the track hooks and the sled comes on top of the snow and starts to carry you up hill. The sled seemed alot more doggy with the other track on it. As for the bigbore kit it makes a pretty noticeble differance over the stock engine. I would like to try the crankshop twins on a stock 1000as i did the pipes and big bore at the same time. My stock motor blew and as i was looking for an engine i stumbled across a guy that had the bigbore and pipes, so i went that route rather then a stock 1000. Ive never had it on a dyno but i would guess a healthy 200 on 91 in real world conditions. I ride from about 3000 to 7500 feet and the pipes seem to make power but are quite finiky. Its not that bad though its not like you have to jet and be covered in gas like the old days of running twin pipes. Its usually watch your egts do a pull check your plugs switch your topendsetting on the boondooker box and ride it for the weekend. unless theres a drastic temp or humidity change. If you steadily rode in one area i dont think they would be that bad to tune for. Where as i live in alberta and ride different places in BC every couple of weekends with different temps and alltitude weekend to weekend.

single?

is there any option to get a single on the 1100? i know you would sacrifice power but im not much tunning for all sorts of riding conditions. well hopefully i can find a 3 inch track or atleast a 2.5 used. im not a fan of $1000+ tracks.

cruis swap meet and hope you find one, the 174's are all pretty new and the 3's are REALLY new, so your not gonna find a lot floatng around!!

iliketoridefast. Allready trying to get more power out of it huh? Telling yah. Put a new rear skid under it and a 174x3 and never look back. As far as not being close to 190hp stock people were dynoing them at like 180+ so 190 should be pretty close. (not at altitude but).
