RSI riser

I just bought a new to me 05' King titanium with 517 original miles on it. I put 4"rsi risers on it with the 30 degree angle to move the bars straight up. Anyway we don't have snow yet but sitting on the machine they feel great except it feels very weak. It has the stock steering post and I get the feeling if I pull on them while side hilling they will pretzel up and break off any thoughts? This is my first cat since 98' which was a ZR 580.

Is it the riser connection that feels weak or the steering post?

I believe the stock steering posts are weak. My 04 is.

I've been thinking about adding a riser to the stock post but also had concerns about the added leverage on the weak post.

I suppose if one is careful, you can get by. After all, with the riser less force is needed to pull the sled on its side, etc.

To me it feels like the riser and bars are the weak point. I have not rode it yet but just pulling it over in the shop seems a little weak. The bars on it are Pro Tapper and I know the post is good and straight because I put a new one on at the same time. I am 5'8 about 190 lbs and it feels like I could rip it off if not carefull. Is it the 30 degree angle that gives it this feeling?
