ROX Flex Tec II Handguards for Pro Taper

For those who have been patiently waiting for the ROX Flex Tec II handguards to work on a Polaris Pro with Pro Taper bars, the wait is almost over. We have finally convinced them to get these done ASAP, we should have product to ship within the next 2 weeks. I have a set if the original flex tec with modified billet mounts to work with the pro taper bars but am not real happy with the mounts. Can you order the mounts separate and will they work with the old version guards? If so how much are they?

Handguards

Got an e-mail yesterday thay they have been shipped. Looking forward to getting them bolted on.

Installed them this weekend. They work well. Would be nice if they sat in the same spot as the clamp for the cross piece on the Pro-Tapers though. They would be vertically more centered on the handgrips.

Got my flex tec 2 handguards in and installed today. Instal was super easy. Solid billet mounts are sturdy and the looks of the guards are awesome. Ill take a picture tomorrow when i get my hood back on and pull the sled out of the garage.

Got mine yesterday and have not had a chance to put them on as the sled is loaded to go to dealer. I can tell you that ROX did a great job on this if it works as good as it looks they will be top of the line. Not junk like the Polaris ones!!

I mounted the hand guards on my 13 Prom RMK with the Pro taper bars. They seems to mount too low. Just wondering if they (ROX) used a 2012 year sled to design the hand guards. The hand guards are mounted as high as I can get them. The are mounted right under the cross bar.

They do mount a tad low. this is on an 11. An inch higher would be perfect but they do still work. I would rate them a 9 out of 10 right now. If they mounted just a tad higher they would be a perfect 10 out of 10.

And it sure was nice to bang thru the trees and not have the branches smacking my hands or having the guards break every time you hit a little leaf or roll the sled over.

Pro Tapers haven't changed from 11-13 as far as I know.

I think the small piece that connects the plastic guard to the handlebar mounts should have been 1" taller, the exact thickness of the clamp that holds the cross piece with pad on the handlebars.

That's what I was thinking too .Should be an inch taller mount on the piece that you mount the plastic hand guards too. Other than that very easy to install..
