Rough first day for Graveler!

Looks like the first problem is he bought it used at Chaplin's. They sell VW's and Subaru's.
How's Dodge doing on those tranny issues? Did they ever get them worked out? And no Graveler and Fordman not that kind of tranny.

I was hesitant about buying the Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel that I was interested in when they announced it knowing that Chrysler was using their transmissions in the Jeeps.
Then I found out that the Diesel was the Mercedes 3.0LV6 with the MB transmission and bought one.
Wasn't sure which transmissions they were using in the Dodges these days, but knew the old ones 2nd gear kept dying.
For those of us who don't have a need for the BIG rigs we have to settle for more practical ones.
By the way you should all be using Power Service White in your diesels and in emergencies Power Service 9-1-1 Red.

So that sensor didn't warm up? That seems really weird, what year is that D-max? I've run with D-max's in -10 degree weather before and never had this happen.
He has an '07.... Just got a report that the truck is now working fine after sitting in a warm garage with the block heater plugged in for a couple of hours.

you need to get out of Issaquah more often, chaplins has a chevy dealership in northbend!!! so it seems that the turbo presure sensor had ice on it!!!! ONSTAR said they have an update for it!!!!
Kind of like riding with you---Get stuck or open your hood and you sneak out the camera---Now ya kinda know what it is like

Funny thing about karma, you don't have a choice...
We gave back our new chebys and picked up 5 new Fords. Back to all Dodge and Ford fleet now. Watch the brake system when towing. Had a few crews stuck on the side of the road for that.
