Yes, we have a couple 12 etc 163s with clutching improvements and several 10-11 ptecs in our group, all good runners and the Pro is more than competitive with only gearing and clutching changes. And yes, it pains me to say that LOL.

Hey, don't sweat it. I don't know about everyone else, but I will buy from a non brand loyal vendor any day of the week. With all sleds having their strengths and weaknesses, it is good you can improve on ANY platform. It is that kind of progressive thinking that would give me confidence in your set-up.:face-icon-small-coo

Fred, in the bottomless deep we have right now i would give a slight edge to the Pro. The softer track and overall lighter weight help it a lot.
If there is anything for the track to grab the power of the Etec is tough to beat, in most races they are very close.... Whoever gets the better line.
I havnt spent the time to get used to the Pro. David is doing most of the Pro tuning and i am mainly the XP. We trade off occasionally but i am still not comfortable on the Pro, just need more seat time. He can pull off some impressive lines and sidehills with the Pro that would require more effort on the Doo.
nice to hear some one be honest about a different brand..thanks WB...........

I have to agree 100% with your comparison. I have owned both and ridden both a lot. When ya got bottomless powder, not much hock up Pro and the 5.1 track love it.--If there is a little more traction that the track can hock up to, E-Tec power and its 2.5 track are better.

Thanks for the feedback on the spring package guys-much appreciated! We need to finish the package for you soon though---length mod and re-valve just adds more goodness!
Hope to see ya Friday on the snow:face-icon-small-ton
