RoosterBuilt Pro RMK

How do you delete it? I switched blocks on my 11 and it wasn't that easy. Carl's didn't even have any ideas for me. I ended up taking the pin out of the switch and taped it up, and it's under the hood now :face-icon-small-win The previous years had a 1 resistor type which only engaged when the resistance changed in one direction. The new ones have a resistor both ways, meaning it needed the proper resistance at idle as well as open throttle (I assumed by the look of it). It would idle, but when you hit the throttle it would die. It has worked just fine since then, but I'm looking for a more permanent fix if there's one out there.

to my knoowledge you cant delete it. If you look at the picture from the front of the sled you can see the red button, its just rolled to the front of the bars. The FTX block moves the button to the front of the bars where your chest cant hit it.

Paul, your sig is missing a few things. I think its time to update it! "Your Polaris Pro clutching specialist"???

That is the next stage, right now he must be still in the Luke-warm stage. P- just pretend it has a TRA while sitting in the shop!

You are right...you CAN"T just delete it. I pulled my TORS unit out of my throttle block, zip tied/taped/shrink tubed the button down and put it under the hood. Curtis from FTX has instructions on how to do it differently, but it still needs to have a good portion of the assembly tied up with the rest of the harness. Would be nice if someone would make a plug and play "fooler" so that you could delete the upper end of the TORS wiring all together.

pro turbo guy this week with a tra on his poo, said he was impressed and was going to try it on his stock pro as well, wonder why??

Perhaps he did it for the same reason that some BRP owners install Tied Team secondary conversions???

Hard to say.............

Great looking sled. A couple things I would put on it is FeetHookers and CE.
Mine is working killer in the deep snow at Mt. Bachelor.

Watched it again today... That is got to be the best running darn stock Pro I have seen! Amazing what a good clutching set will do. 3' of pow from our storms this week and it seemed un-stopable... Good job guys. :face-icon-small-coo

We made it to the lake lynn....im freaking exhausted!
It did get stuck a few times....the rider is human afterall...i was starting to wonder.
The front springs from fastrax worked as he hoped they would, much nicer!

I knew you would... I have the faith brutha! :)

I saw the "non-stock" front springs, do tell on the Fastrax springs.

The stock front shocks leave something to be desired. We thought we would give the fastrax dual rate set-up a try. Seems inexpensive and we have always had good luck with dual rate set-ups in other app's
Findings-
Lowers the front of the sled about 1/2".
Much better ride on the trails
Much better stability through the trenches
The shocks actually seem to use most of there available travel
Did not feel any noticeable bottoming

This is a great mod for the pro. We will be selling these to our customers.

so paul how does the poo compare to the etec or 800r, a well set up one, i respect your opion and your on the poo fourm...lol

and how about their crazy *** flat stering, how do you like it, and do you think doo sterring would sell many more for poo

a few more thoughts to ask, but start with these...lol

Fred, in the bottomless deep we have right now i would give a slight edge to the Pro. The softer track and overall lighter weight help it a lot.
If there is anything for the track to grab the power of the Etec is tough to beat, in most races they are very close.... Whoever gets the better line.
I havnt spent the time to get used to the Pro. David is doing most of the Pro tuning and i am mainly the XP. We trade off occasionally but i am still not comfortable on the Pro, just need more seat time. He can pull off some impressive lines and sidehills with the Pro that would require more effort on the Doo.

Why do I get the feeling that this is information a certain someone didn't want to hear?
