Is anyone running rooster weights on a stock 800? I am wondering what you are running for weight.
Right now I have
52 gram base weight with green screw and tungsten washer in the heel and green screw in the middle. Should equal 60.5 grams of weight. Running black purple secondary spring and stock helix. Tried SLP blue/pink primary spring and stock black polaris primary spring. No difference really which is odd.
Sled will consisitenly pull 7900-8050 at 8-10k feet which is tolerable but would like 8200. Just doesn't feel like it makes the speed it should be. In a drag race it will lose to same sled with bone stock clutching by a few lengths.
Will be trying lighter exhaust valve springs this week but I am curious if anyone has a good setup for clutching with these weights? I dont expect much of a gain from these weights but the adjustability is nice. If they are going to hurt the sled I will just sell them off & go back to stock.
