Road ride.

Thinking about doing a road ride on Monday the 18th. Anyone think there will be enough snow on the roads anywhere? I live in the Ogden area but I'm not opposed to making a reasonable drive. Thanks

Personally I would take a drive up to Monte tomorrow (Sunday). The state is plowing the road today and tomorrow.
Go up there and see where you can go before they close the road at midnight on Sunday.
Places a lot of side roads as you go up, campground, curtis creek.

I'm pretty familiar with Monte and that was kinda my thought as a place to go but, I didn't know they were gonna close the gate Sunday night. I was just gonna drag the sleds as far as my truck would take them and then unload. Makes me wonder if there will be near enough on the roads to get from the parking lot to say CC or anywhere for that matter. The ditches from the parking lot to powerline are littered with rocks just small enough to be covered but just big enough to ruin your day lol. If i end up taking a drive up there tomorrow I'll report back. Thanks for the info!

The road won't be covered. The snow will be high and by closing the road you won't be able to get to it.
Good snow will start at the top where the power lines cross the road.
Might even be a zoo up there now and tomorrow.

Thinkin I'll just wait it out... I might still drive up there though just for the hell of it.
