Road Ride? Where?

Those who were over VPass, how'd it look?
Any reports for Winter Park area?
Did the mtns get all the snow we got in town (couple feet by my crude eyeball measurement system)?
Would like to claim a pre-November "1st ride" this season..haven't had one for a couple years.

From the pics you posted, you could probably do a backyard ride!

(if my sled wasn't in pieces, i would be!)

have some might tempting green space behind the fence... would be able to spool for sure! haha would be pretty amusing... till the cop from accross the street comes over to hassle me.

fist ride last night...

i went for a ride last night in the neighborhood. 12 to 12 1/2 inches on the grass. BANGED THE DITCH AND DID SOME QUICK PULLS. and parked it.. it took longer to take the cover off;);)

I sent Rprecision photos from my phone. (Said I suck) Cannot download them. PM me and I will send them to your cell. BTW, We tracked the crap out of it..... :D Good news, set up a base for the season. :rose::present:

Road ride...I've heard that before;). Never seem to stay on the roads though! lol

Bushy, Would that be similair to the trail riding I've heard so much about? I always have this plan every year to ride the trail one day and track it with my GPS. 3 years now still no trail tracks on it. I need boondocking therapy.

We did get some good snow up at cottonwood... I would say 2-3 feet below timberline but only 6" to 8" above timberline. The road was plowed from the gunnison side either yesterday or today to the top of the pass.. Parking is at the avalanche parking lot and there is plenty of packed snow to road ride from there up... There was not enough snow on the gunny side to entice us into venturing off the top of the pass....

It was super fun to get out again yesterday and yes there were faceshots but the only riding up there right now is on the main road from avalanche to the top... The most snow fell right around the avalanche parking lot and it gets less and less as you go up.

It is still fun to get the old sled out but I would not venture to far off the road.. I just would not go up there thinking that you will be finding fields with 3 or 4+ feet of fresh..

Here are a couple of pics from today... These were taken in the avalanche parking lot up at cottonwood. As you can see they had not plowed the parking lot yet.

This should set up into a great base!! As I said before only road riding from there up but it was fun the last couple of days "road riding"
