RMK vs. PRO snowflap

anyone notice a difference between the 2 different snowflaps when it comes to cooling? my pro runs pretty hot, wondering if the rmk flap runs cooler without the holes.

Cant comment on the snow flap, but the #1 item to help with cooling is scratchers. If u dont have them, better get them....JM2C

They both suck. The rmk one is a little better, sucks more snow in but the darn flaps are always straight back so there not really doing what there supposed to do, which is suck the snow into the tunnel. Try the IQ flap it's much better and it stays down.

Yep, we switched to an IQ snow flap on our 2011 Pro and it ran about 30* cooler. It doesn't bend back near as much and recirculates the snow better.

That and some Redline Water Wetter helps quite a bit when on the packed icy trails we currrently have in Washigton state.

100% correct, good ol IQ dragon flap dropped it 20-30 degrees on the trails. Got one on both my 800 and 600 pros. And they come in black,grey or red..also tho rare orange,blue and white

Anybody want a new pro flap ???? lol
