RMK 800 Skis?

I was wondering what you all thought about Skis!
I have a 02RMK 800 with Pipe Can 8" custom Risers and a 159" Track and I am looking for better turning and handeling in the powder. I am thinking about a new seat and a lexan hood to drop a few but I do not know what the best setup for the skis would be

Do you have swaybar? I personally have that same sled with less riser and no sway bar. I went to the polaris gripper ski. I think it pushes a little more on soft trails but you can't beat it in the powder. THe deeper the better. Plus I got them for cheap as a take off. My cousin has the SLP powder pros with carls cut and they are probably the best all around ski I have seen. I know a couple others that swear by the simmons. Are you using the sidehillers now? If you are then no matter what you go too, it will be better. Hope this helps.:beer;

Powder pros with the Carl's Cycle cut or SLP SLTs. Both are great skis for the Edge RMK.

Where are you located?

2nd vote for the grippers I have them on my 700 edge and love them with a 7 inch riser they are awsome in powder and i might switch back for spring ridin because im hard on skis but there amazing!

I had heard good things about the gripper skis so I tried them on an Edge. No thanks... PP or SLT is what I'll use.

SLP powder pros, no question.

But I'm actually impressed with the plain old Pilot 6.9 skis are pretty slick. I have a trail sled, and run the pilot 5.7s, but on the north shore last year, I got to ride my buddy's renegade with pilot 6.9s, I loved it!

But, I'll stop there because I have no idea if you can mount pilots on anything but doo's in the first place.

Good luck.

I would go with powder pro's....Prolly go with the ones with the carls cycle mod. It makes them a better all around ski. Sometimes they can be a little aggressive.
