Rkt Head

I have an 09 m1000 with speedwerx pipe,ypipe, BDX intake and I was woundering how much benifit would I get out of a Rkt head I ride at 6000 to 8000 ft and what compression should I go with for 91 oct fuel

Or is there a better alternative

rk tek head with his porting he does with the cnc is where it's at! I rode my buddies sled with almost the same set up , and all i can say is WOW, it actually pulled a turbo nytro 90% across this mountain lake we were riding!! no b.s.!

If your going to install a head than I would do the porting to see the max benefit.

X3 on the rkt head and add the porting. Kelsey is pulling 225hp with pump gas!

Thanks for the reply's I started looking into it on their web and found a forum on this too I saw Kelsey say 225hp but I assume thats with the case porting to get that high. Maybe with just cylinder port 210hp possibly 215hp I think I will have to phone him..
The # are impressive for a single pipe that's for sure

What am I missing??? these sleds make 140 hp in stock form right. I have a slp pipe on one and am running one stock and hope to hop it up this summer. thought of putting a slp pipe and kelseys head on it too keep the 2 year warr. going. I can maybe see 160 with port work but if I can get over 200 sign me up.... Like I said what am i missing.....Thanks Garry

Were talking about an M1000 here not an 800. I would like to see one of these make 225hp on a dyno with just porting and single pipe.
