858 rkt

The 858 kit works very well. I have 750 miles on mine and it has been flawless , even after I installed a Silber Turbo at 400 miles the thing flat out rips!!!!:amen:

Id be curious to seeing if I could do the 858 on my Long rod motor.

I did this with the rev1 kit earlier this winter, sled ran too lean with the fuel numbers I got and I was too late at catching this. Sled ran just fine and had good compression but the initial lean condition scored my pistons. Tore the engine down to get new pistons, but I now have it confirmed that rktek will not be getting more pistons for the rev1 kit without the shims. Now I have to update the kit with all that makes it the rev2, shims bolts, pistons and domes if i want to runt it btu The rev2 version will not work on the LR bottom.

So far i love my LR setup with an PAR ultimate package, so I am kinda bummed that I wont be able to rumd the 858 top end on it with some new fuel numbers.

NOTICE i was advised from rktek that they could not guarantee that theyre kit would work on my LR setup, and that the fuel numbers might not work, the burn down was MY responsibility. I am convinced that this is a solid kit when setup correctly and I probably will run it in a different sled in the future:)

That's what I was wondering. I'm currently running a stage 3 kit on my LR. So far it's been impressive. Running quite a bit more weight then slp called for. Curious what clutching your running on the PAR package

Stock primary spring, CPC adjustable weights, supposed to be same profile as stocks setup with a tad over 71g. Carls custom cut helix with 170-240 spring.

C3 beltdrive with 2.21ratio, 155" with challenger extreme 2.5".

Sled pulls to much rpms now and need more weight, this is all at sealevel.

What setup are you running?
