Rk Tek with Team Rooster adjustable weights

How in the hell are you guys getting the weight bolts out of the cam arms??? I'm finding a 10mm socket and 3/8" socket too big and a 9mm and 5/16" socket too small and am rounding the corners off the bolt heads... What's the trick??? I want to put more weight in the heel.....

I use a 3/8 open end wrench

grind the open end of the socket down flat and flush to where the bolt is grabed right at the end of socket

I've just been using the tips on a 10mm.... It's kinda f'd up I agree...

Not impressed with this so far....
I might just put my Daltons back in; I don't see that big of performance gain (if any) to be pissing around like this. Takes only 5 minutes adjust weights on the Dalton weights with the allen head setscrews!!

Have any of you just tryed using the series 10 polaris weights.? Thought there the same profile as rooster weights

Ya same profile but you can stack weight in three different places to make it shift how you want ten series weights your stuck with what they are

SLP blue/pink primary, 62 gram EPI belly buster weights, team tied seconday with a 73-57.46 helix and a team red/black spring. Gearing is 19/42 and Im running 42-43 mph track speeds. Pretty happy overall. I find the lighter but tip heavy weights work well. im sure some guys here will disagree, but its been working for me. I ride 6500-7500 feet most of the time.
