rk tek piston update kit

Looking to up date my factory pistons done some research and wondering what u guys think of the rk tek kit . I have a 2012 RMK 800 163 with 1000 miles on it . Also looking at the mtntk kit .:face-icon-small-con

This is a very polarizing topic on this 4m. I suggest you do a search and see the threads that have gone back and forth between the RK Tek pistons and the Indy Dan long rod kit. Plus, there your question is the same as what someone posted in the last couple days.

Definetly go mtntk, RkTek quality control will be way down and supply may be restricted cause all he does is spend time on this forum and others telling everyone how and why his products are the bomb.
Most of his competitors are working to improve products, not talking to improve products. Different results usually.

I like rk tech kits have installed a few ,and they have worked great. they are simple to install and give you a nice h/p increase. the engine also runs much smoother. I've never had a problem with kelsy and the products were available, and worked as advertised. also kelsy has been very available when ever I've had questions. him being an avid form user I consider a good thing. p/s have done one pms kit and it also worked well.:face-icon-small-coo

I installed my drop in kit at 1300 miles, my motor looked perfect. A buddy did his at 800 and one skirt was cracked.

its all about money... None of the fix kits have bad reviews so pick based upon how big your wallet is.

one buddy with the long rod and mine with the rk-tek.. mine pulls harder, but i also got 20lbs on him :face-icon-small-win
