RUN FOR FUN in 2008 at our races JAK

Yes Kory we would have 2 classes. 800 and 801 and over or open class. As always we have to satisfy a lot of different racers on a local event like this - so you would be racing in the afternoon and evening. The hill is not huge 400-500 feet or somethng like that. There will be jumps but it would seem tame compared to HillX. This is our major fund raiser for the year. If you can come onover we would love to have you. Just remember it is a fairly well organized LOCAL race.
There will be some Hill Xer's and snocrosser's there. JAK

working tether of course --Helmet and we encourage tech vest and shin gaurds. We run side by side - you keep running until you lose twice. JAK

well i will findout the progress on my sled. its a long shot but it might be done by then. maybe i would dust off the 02 440 sno pro and rip that. haha that thing seems ancient now!

Snowester's this is a great event fun to be had by everyone!!!!!
Hopefully see a lot of you there.
Darren

Is there a class for turbo sleds or is that open class I would really like to see how my tm7 does thanks much mike

Yes you would have to run in the open class --Trophy class
We are allowing trail type sleds to run for cash in the cash class this year. This class is for race bred sleds. But with this addition this year you could run open race class too.
We are trying to have classes that work for everyone so racers can do a couple classes at least. We cannot nor will try to make everyone happy with classes. Our Theme this year is "Run for Fun".
The race class will start with a challenging double jump (snow permitting)

Anyway entry fees will be in the $25.00 to $35.00 range
We are pretty well run local event with insurance - permits - food - beverage- announcer - bon fires - heated lodge- heated beer tent (for after the races for you guys) 600 -700 fans and a really nice site nestled in the river valley.

We have our classes set and I will post after our final race meeting this Thursday Night -- but I will create classes that day if we can fit them in and have at least 3 sleds - these classes would race off with the winner getting entry fee back -- no promises but that is how I will run them if they are outside our format.

We will have a full program if for some reason our turn out is light (never is) we will add classes and rounds - grudge matches - challenges etc but for the most part we have a full schedule - that is why we start so early.
If we have enough snow we will have a great track to run for fun!

JAK

Can I run my can? Just Joking Jak!!!!!! Like Jak said this is a top notch event for anyone who is looking to have a good time. Maybe we can get a snowest grudge match class!!!!
Later D

For the cash class -- race class-- we will have 500 - 600 Stock- 600 Mod 700 800 and open. I decided to keep a 600 stock class so the 440's and 08 stock 600 can run that. Again trying to make two reasonable classes for everyone. You of course can bump up to 700 800 and open. We are inviting the trail sleds to sign up with the racers if they want this year.
Please note the race (cash) class does not register until 12:30 -- come early and watch the other classes or bring a trail sled and join in -- or maybe a cheater vintage.
This is a shorter hill thatn Hill X wold run but it gives you a chance to do hole shots - catch flags and hit a few jumps.
Trail class we are trying to run off one jump or a table. Race (cash) class we have our usual doubel at teh start line. Our track builder is good and runs a mod himself. Mudscott told me he will be out of town but he runs with the guy who builds the tracks so they have done a great job for us SNOW PERMITTING.
Two losses and you are eliminated for the class

We also sport an appearance by our all female starting crew!! Not to be missed!

Take the jump out

take the jump out for a "real mountain sleds" class. I am sure you would see alot of snowest guys who would come run with some big mods and would be a good show.

say i brought a rev 440 with a 600 h.o. trail motor, its just a stock 600 in a race chassis, what would that run in? i wanna race cash class thats why i ask, if there is a 600 stock cash class?

So a turbo sled runs in a open (cash) class. Is there any other class that I could run in with a turbo my only fear is driving down there and only getting to race in because I don't know what I'm doing or I just don't have my sled set up right for this. I'm sorry for all the questions I just have never done this before I know my sled rips out west but I just don't now about here. Thanks mike

turbo class?

How many turbo sleds would it take to consitute a turbo 2 stroke class? I would do it.
