Riser Block Confusion!

Hello Everyone,

I just recently bought an 05 Summit adrenaline 159" track. I am 6'5 and this sled currently has stock bars. This is my first sled and I am trying to figure out some options that are not overly expensive (I dont want to blow the bank, I just want the bars to be higher than they are now) I have been looking at some pivot style adapters because I have a flat mounting post, and then some sort of riser from there...

Anyone else fairly tall and have done some similar modifications?

Any help photos and or descriptions would be great.

Hey, I'm 6'3 and my Polaris had a flat mounting post. I used a powermadd pivot and a 4" riser block. could have been a bit higher but it was pretty close. really easy to install. I did have to extend the throttle cable, brake cable and the wiring but that was pretty easy as well. throttle and brake extensions were kits from royal distributing and for the wires i just cut them in the middle and soldered in some extra length. i did the wires one by one so i didn't mess anything up and shrink wrapped the connections. be careful though, after about a year and a half, i pretty much ripped the flat mount right off the post. my buddy had the same thing happen but his came all the way off and he had to replace the whole steering column. luckily i have a buddy that's a welder so mine's pretty much good as new. good luck!

Salomon, I have a 7" stock riser that I just took off my '06 summit X. If you upgrade your flat connection to a pivot with the Powermad unit, you can have my riser for $10+ shipping if you are looking for real cheap. I also have a set of steel bars that I was using, from my 450 CRF that I can toss in for another $10. That combo should get you as high as you need to go. The only reason I scrapped it was because I wanted to add a little bling. PM me if you're interested.
