It is a total gradual slope about 30 feet....been down it a thousand times. In fact in powder you cant even go down it.


This time they were sitting on an old snowboard.....and the ice made it super fast....4 inch tree....zing

"Tore" into my sled last night looking for "the" problem. Tore off the pipe, tore off the heatshield; the heatshield that needs another mounting point since I deleted the oil tank. I had it wired down and it was to tight over an injector and it wore through the wires on the mag side. Should solve the intermittent "running like crap"!

Nice! Gotta love the "easy fix" ....wait...I didn't say that yet...


Sounds like I would've wrapped that tree even if I was strapped to a board.

SSWIM has alot of experience with the OVS cats. He told me his wouldnt start either unless he used a specific sequence.

I'm out for this weekend Gonna regroup and try again next weekend.

the easy fix for my 1000 was a tree..........fixed.

Chillin at the Allington. Had a great day today and never started the sled. Gonna explore some new territory tommorow. I know the snow may be nasty but a good time will be had. I love new terrain, gives me a chance to try out some new toys and figure out how to get home. Plus just a way to get some miles on the new PRO. Allington is great. $59, thanks Diz

I must have missed the hard starting part...sucks. I'll go get more snow now that I know I found the right window to dump it by.

Just when I was released from work, you back out Corey? The trees are only rigid near Monument. I'm thinking of taking my moto over to the fourmile area tomorrow. You ever ride there? I have in the heat, but wondering how much snow to expect right now. I figure praying for it hasn't worked so well, so I will try the opposite.

Had to cancel this weekend. I have to work wee hours into the night....every night. Hawaiian projects need more documents. Utility company's, PUC and investors........
