Riding Pics from White Pass, Saturday

yep that was us that tracked the meadow up just below the hillclimb, deep getting in there no base. Need this snow to settle with about this much again on top to have any climbing or off road riding.

Well dang you, we only got to make a couple passes in that meadow...:(...

hehehe, we had our turn last weekend I suppose...:D:D

Yup, hope it keeps dumping can't wait to start climbing up there:D:face-icon-small-hap

No modulars in this group man!

Anyone been up there during the week that can give a report, I can't get away till Saturday:( ?

I don't think Mr. Quick can tell a modular from a full face?

94 fordguy, I think Mr. Q is trying to bag on your buddy? Some people are more about the latest greatest sled, and all the fancy gear. I am all about function over style anyday! Thanks for posting the pics, I'll keep an eye out for more. -00's

OK, since no one else wants to give a report on what my group can expect tomorrow, I guess I'll have to drag this thread kicking and screamin up to the top for another week tomorrow...

PS, If you don't like any of our gear, that is your opinion, and I welcome you to keep it to yourself!

Starting to get deep up there... warm and windy today, we are finally getting some base building weather... 5 ft on top with some drifts even deeper, challenging snow for sure, but starting to get fun!

About 3 feet in the lower meadows, too thin to do any real cross country riding just yet, and about 18" at the parking lot. The trail had been groomed earlier in the week, but there was enough new snow on top of that that you really couldn't tell that it had been. The 1204 road is also bermed at the Tieton road, so it is now officially and undoubtably open for the season:D

Was raining at the parking lot when we unloaded and when we loaded up also, and the pass was wet from the lake down to Trout Lodge where it turned to black ice and a really slick rest of the ride home, after seeing 2 wrecks, we did 25mph the rest of the way back down the pass...

I like the pics. I'm going up to tampico in the morning I hope there is some of that snow up there. Why don't you have any pics of the red polaris stuck? :beer;:D

He really didn't get a real 'stuck' today, Gotta love that 166 track on days like this, he made our 151 and 153 tracks look silly:eek::eek::cool:

At least they are grooming somewhere!Ahtanum is needing some grooming big time.I suppose the logging is the excuse for no grooming, but I don't see why they couldn't just start at Treephones and work up from there.Nice pics BTW!

Greetings...Nice pictures

I sledded out of Pinegrass for the first time last year. I remember riding across a hillside with a big cornice of snow over my head to get to some nice meadows with a log cabin. I'd say it was 15-20 miles from the Sno-Park. Is that up Section 3, or Conrad Meadows?

I know there are no cabins up on top of section 3, so it must have been somewhere else. I have heard Conrad and Klickitat meadows both have cabins apparently, but I don't really know those areas...
