FYI been a lot of storms lately and another coming Tuesday Wednesday with wind= high avy danger. Most of Baker up high might be sketchy. IMO exspeicaly Wood River valley and Stanley area it's best to pay attention to avy reports everyday. Have never seen that article before it seems to be fairly accurate.

Baker maybe groomed( not sure have not been over there this year), on this side of Galena the trails going up any drainage are not groomed but usually it's not too bad. The groomer just goes along the valley. There are some mild play areas just north of Stanley called Nip and Tuck, just a few minutes and your back in town if need be. Could also try Smiley Creek or Frenchman Creek (if Smiley Creek Lodge is open)if your looking for some where to go to to warm up or eat. There's lots of places to go but they are more remote.

Baker has some good riding, if the silver creek side gets groomed this week it can be fun.
Over Galena, the headwaters and pole creek are popular.
Check www.sawtoothavalanche.com for the daily advisory and accurate weather info. Sorry to be vague on the riding areas. ..but you know. ....
