I was playing at the lake Marie hill yesterday when I was coming down I came over a little rise and here was a guy coming up the same line. We both made evasive maneuvers to miss each other. We sideswiped each other without damage. We were within inches of a head on. This is why there should be only one person on the hill at a time. The up side is he did come appoligize after he got unstuck.
Now Billy.... Lets get this story straight.. Yes my 11 year old son was riding
up your down trail on lake Marie! But he was not whithin inches of a head on
with you!! You were at least 100 feet above him when he turned out on the hill!! AND as soon as you saw him you started out yelling f bombs left and right. There was no "evasive maneuvers" you came straight down, which is the only way you can come down that steep hill. My son did not see you he was riding in a circle hitting a little jump on the way down the hill with another
friend.. When I was watching this unfold, you started droping F bombs and I was looking for someone that was actually close to you thinking that someone cut you off. I asked a couple of other people who were watching
who you were yelling at?? I then assumed it was our kids. I talked to our boys
about who had the right a way and other safety issues, Then I walked over to appoligize for my son. I do take the blame for this. my son learned an important lesson on Sunday. Why couldn't you show some class and say something constructive instead of something destructive? Also I was never stuck nor was my son??? By the way when we all left Lake Marie my group of 4 followed your group on the trail we had to slow down to a stop and manuver
around your group that was stoped 2 abreast on the trail??HMMMM why you ask? BECAUSE YOU were stuck on a guard rail on the left hand side of the trail
and if you didnt get stuck you would have jumped back on the wrong side of the trail in a blind area for oncoming traffic!!!! Practice what you preach!!
OK enough said lets go sledin.
