riding around hope?

buddy is looking at buying a truck down there this weekend and i suggest taking a day and riding around there somewhere. can anyone suggest a good riding area thats about an hour or so radius around hope? any info would be great, we ride alot of hills and treed areas. thanks for any help

if you drive about 25-30 minutes up the coquihalla hwy you will hit a rest area and you can unload there and pretty mich rip around. if you go down the logging road about 10k there is a trail going up. it takes you to the alpine and a bit of everything on the way.

right on, might have to check that place out if we head down, is this rest area on the left or right? is it pretty well marked?

when you go towards merritt it will be on your right(just after the coquihalla lakes lodge).
