I rode yesterday in about 2-3 feet of heavy wet Cascade Concrete. A report on some projects I did over the summer.
Powder Pro's: I have used them before so I knew what to expect, heavy steering but float amazing off trail and turn on a dime. Worth every penny.
2010 Cat seat: Totaly transforms the sled to what it should be. That in combination with the Sno Pro steering post is amazing. Best $200 bucks you can spend on an older M Cat.
Shock revalve from Andy at GSR: This is the best $180 I have ever spent on a sled that makes more difference than you will ever know. Have been re valving forks and shocks on bikes for years but never a sled. All I can say is wow. I found a straight stretch about a mile long and started pounding back and forth about 10 times and it got pretty beat up with some 1-2 foot holes and bumps. Last year with stock valving I would have been going slow as he'll as the suspension sucked. Now I can go flat out through it and the sled just eats up the bumps. And flies right through it like the bumps aren't even there. I highly reccomend this more than anything else including the pipe.
Hope this helps some guys who are on the fence about any of these things.
