Ride in Ride out cabins now? or even a nice cabin with no sledding?

Any place in colorado that has ride in and out cabins now? Wife and I want to get awat for the weekend before she deploys. I am in a sling so only she will be riding but I dont want to have to load and uinload 50 times if possible.

Even still just a nice cabin somewhere would work. Any ideas this weekend is our anniversary and the military forced us to cancel travel plans due to her upcoming deployment.

Thanks for the help.

Steamboat lake & the cabins up at the Snowies are the only areas that I know of, there's also grand lake if you're into that sort of thing...

Grand Mesa Lodge in Grand Mesa. There are other places in the state too, Grand Lake has options, just not my fave place to ride. She might like it if she isn't a big rider though!

Electric Mountain Lodge is also another great lil place, not sure on snow conditions right now though.

In my riding area there is Steamboat Lake Outfitters out of Steamboat Springs. There are also plenty of cabins in Grand Lake but I have never ridden there and it is only 1/2 hour away from me.

There is another group of cabins about 3 miles west of SLO but I cannot remember the name. Nice little place and I hear that the food is spectacular.

Cozy cabins...........

Coulter Lake Guest Ranch. Accessible via Elk Creek outside of New Castle or out of Rifle up on the Flat tops. Definitely ride in ride out.

AHHHH! I knew that the name was just escaping me. Dutch Creek is really sledder friendly too. Stay away from Columbine cabins, she is a tree hugger to the core and HATES snowmobilers!

grand lake

I have 2 cabins for rent on the trail in Grand lake. ride in ride out. pm me if you are interested.

Google Pando Cabins back of Vail which is accessible by car. Dutch Creek and Coulter Lake are great but if the snow conditions are weak, riding out of Dutch Creek is really tough as you will have to ride on the black top until you get to Steamboat Lake, but it is first class with great dining. Coulter Lake is a 3 mile trail ride to the ranch, has great trails/meadows and OK family style dining.

Grand Mesa Lodge is probably your best bet and they are supposed to have a resturant open this year.

Electric Mountain Lodge is great but you have to ride 14 miles of ungroomed trail to get there.

Best wishes for your wife's deployment--we all appreciate the sacrifices the military families make for us.
