Who's up for it? Leave Soapstone and go up top, cut over toward Wolf Creek. Staying up high and OFF the hills. Lots of meadows and snow. Deep, not steep!

Did you guys get much snow back up in the uintahs, snotel is reading funny, most stations received a lot of water but not much increase in snow depth.

Uinta's didn't get much this week. My in laws live at their cabin full time and said they where able to broom off the snow. I'm sure the higher elev. fared much better though. Anything on top of what they had last weekend will be good.

I got about 8 new inches at the house the past day and the direction favored towards wolf creek from Soapstone. Sure it's filled in and fine.

I was up there yesterday, and the snow was really deep and had a solid base. Some spots were up to my chest in snow. It was awesome except for the wind. I will be there saturday morning, not sure what time though. see ya up there.

I was up timerlakes yesterday, headed toward soapstone, Snow was DEEP 3-4 feet of fresh!!! Caution! If you jump off your sled it might take a while to get back on!!! I found my self looking up at the bottom of my boards once.

had a great ride. butt cold and windy but sunny and lots of deep snow!!! Just Chief, kbisiar (Kevin) and me. 62 miles of pow bashing. I only got tossed off 2 times. no stucks... for me. Great day. I like Chiefs new M8.

It did disturb me to watch people climbing certain exposures. DUH! Especially right under and next to the broken cornice on Tower. It had just broken today. Bus size chunks and we watched guys climbing next to that. hello?

Rock Star. Thanks to you and Chief for todays ride. I learned a lot. Wellers is going to look over the XP and then I will figure out what next. We may have to drop the NOS system. They recomended bigger vent kit which im sure is good advice, but at $400 I will have to wait on that. Kepping 3 sleds runing is costing me more then my mortgag, but damn days like today make it all worth it. Thanks again.

Kevin, I was able to talk to Rich and I am glad you left that sled there. Suggestion. since you bought the sled w/NOS and don't need or use it, take it off and sell that system on here. It'll sell fast and use that money to get the sled set up right by Weller's.

I am a tired and sore guy tonight. Maybe next time I'll stay ON my sled. or not!

PS all Mafia guys, SideHill Phil had knee surgery yesterday. Off a sled for 4 to 6 weeks, Man did I miss his Paul Bunyon pull today. Get better fast Phil.
