Rick ward

Truly a legend. I sure enjoyed watching him climb at Jackson.

Very saddened.

Prayers to his family.

The Highs and Lows

About to be a grandfather for the first time and a hill climb legend is gone at the same time. Will be thinking of your family at the hospital. Rest in peace Rick Ward.

An incredible loss to the snowmobile race community and even more so to his family and many friends. Godspeed Rick. Thanks for all of your support, advice and friendship over the years.

Truly Horrible
RIP Rick #7
RIP David #22

They are helping us all in others ways (angels).

Both were truly first rate guys.

My sincerest best wishes to the family.

WOW, this is one the entire sledding community will feel.

How saddening.

Condolences go out to all family and friends. :(

Wow what a horrible tragedy! Met him briefly several times, did not know him closely, but I saw how he earned the respect and admiration of both friends and competitors. I hope that when I pass that I've earned half as much respect as this CHAMPION did during his shortened life.

Really a shinning example for us all to follow!

I have known Rick for over 30 years and he never changed. He had a heart as big as this world and I agree with everyone, he will be greatly missed. He will always be a champion to us all. Prayers to the family, and thank you for sharing Rick with us.

the world grows a little darker with the loss of Rick Ward and great people like him, he had the biggest heart, the non existent ego, and was always there to help when you where in need. The first time I meet him he let us use his shop to prep for jackson, RIP Rick, you will greatly be missed

Did not know the guy personally but felt like I did watching him race. What a class act he was. He has now moved on to a bigger and better place. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Rick was always there for anyone that needed it and always had a great smile that made the worst race day seem better no matter what. I have always looked up to him and hope to be half the example he was. I can say that after racing for him and Polaris and then switching brands he always would go out of his way to come and say hello and good luck and that to me ment the world. I love this sport as much as I do because of people like him. May god's blessing be apon you and your family.

With simpathy

Rick was definately the benchmark competitor who was always in the running at every event. He was an inspiration and an example to all.
Prayers for his family and friends.
