Revy - STD capital of BC???

No.. thats the start of a depession!

If money flows in, there can't be a depression... and it is flowing in Revy.
Otherwise Vancouver would collapse. You wanna see super expensive... go there.

Revy has a little resource, and it is called lots of snow. people build around that resource. If the snow stops.. then the hockey stick goes in the spokes. Until then revy will thrive, and it's best that people deal with it.. LOL

MARCUSO,

I figured you the type too dig deeper into your thoughts than I. Dig deeper! you will figure it out..

The main problem i have with the Heli fugger's is they just keep trying to take all the land, have sleds banned, area's closed down and the list goes on. Do you see any sledding groups trying to kick Heli skiers out ?? No, you dont because WE sledders understand give and take. Them fuggin Heli biotches just understand the "Take" part. Have a look at most of the snowboard community, they love sleds, sledding and alot of them are using sleds to access the back country. I dont see any snowboards groups trying to take over from the sled community. As mentioned, there's room for everyone, and the only reason the Heli skiers money talks more than the sledders is because its a fuggin cash grab by the Gov't...... those whom wish to argue, try an dispute that FACT !!

For sure Darko, and the only reason they are always up for more land is the fact that the skiers that pay $700/day want to ski one fresh line on every fuggin' hill they see, and never track the same hill twice. This is the reason they don't go cat skiing, they might have to ski on a slope someone already skied that season! If you look at the area that one heli skiing operation covers in central BC, it is enormous!!! What blows me away is the fact that they have the ability (i.e. a Helicopter) to access terrain that absolutely no sledder or snow cat can (in a matter of minutes, literally), but they insist on procuring sled areas and say that sledders track up all their good terrain. Here's a tip: Fly somewhere we can't go! You've got a fuggin helicopter!!!!! Their footprint should be equal or less than other user groups, but often is larger and the reason is exclusivity. They feel compelled to offer their clients skiing on exclusive virgin terrain becuz of the huge premium they make them pay for it.

"A recession is when your neighbour loses his job.
A depression is when you lose yours."

I try not to dig too deep. It then makes it harder to climb out.;)

I am sure Revy will survive with transient losers.... Kelowna is.

If prices go up.. theoretically the lunchbagger will also disappear.

I don't just ride Revy, like some on here... so I guess I see it in a broader perspective.

I am sledder/skier and live in Golden, I spend less to ski for the day (pass holder), but I ski alot more days, it all works out pretty even over the year. Sled maintenance/replacement vs. ski gear expenses? $5000/year vs $1000/year. combining the two for some backcountry fun....priceless!!!

Its all about the POW anyway..........sausage to taco ratio rates up there pretty high as well.
