Revy avalanche

Thoughts and prayers to all that are involved in this tragic event.
Glad to hear that the people I know are ok.

The photo is Chad's Cat Turbo, it was Heli'd out. Chads other sled he had up there, 1200 Doo-Doo is still up there in the debris field, he was sitting on the 1200 Doo Doo when it occured.....

yes that cat he had was a nice sled but after seeing that pic there was nothing left, thank god hes ok tho thats the more important thing

In all my experience with S&R i have never seen such an organized, efficient appropriate operation. S&R on saturday absolutely took over and got everyone taken care of- and they were easy to work with and assist. I counted 7 choppers in the area at one point.

The best emergency response i have ever witnessed.

Now there you go..............

Applaud the things done right. The quick response. The deep, sincere concern for our fellow sledders shown here by our frends. The togetherness that this sad event has fostered, and just reachout to one another with a big hug.

Owen

latest news---- EVERYONE accounted for ---no more dead , no more missing ,.

I hope you are right, if so, it is truely amazing and a miracle that the numbers were not in the double digits, and high digits at that.

I hope......

My thoughts and prayers go out to those lost, and their families to stay strong. I'm hoping the last report of all accounted for is true, I applaud the efforts of all who participated in the search, rescue, and sadly the recovery. This is a time to pull together as a snowmobile community and help those involved and affected to get through this tradgedy. Through education, awareness, and by learning from our mistakes we can make sure that it is never to be repeated. Thanks again to S&R, sad day for our sport, Hug your family, and respect mother nature (no matter how BAD you are, SHE's BADDER)

This is an unreal heartbreaker. Sends a shiver up me thinking about it.
RIP to those who have passed on.
My condolences to all involved and to the family and friends affected by this tragedy.
Godspeed to SAR...I hope you've had a really boring, uneventful day.

I found an SOS tracker DTS buried in the snow during the search. It was transmitting. I assume someone must have taken it off prior to the avalanche. If it is legitimately yours, please PM me and I'll mail it to you. Please don't claim it if it isn't truly yours, that's just bad karma. If I don't hear from anyone, I'll give it to a snowmobiling friend whose was broken and in need.

My condolences to the families of the deceased.

finally got buddy to call me back who was up there. I was going to go up there with him, and couldnt' make it. they were up there 2 weeks ago and turbo slid, so they were sitting to the side a couple hundred feet from where the slide hit. He saw the whole thing go down. He still can't believe what happened. Carnage everywhere, they had to double a dad and two sons out who couldnt' find their sleds. said the dad was at the front of the pack when the slide hit and was taken down over the ledge down the slope to the bottom. sons were pretty relieved to find him. sounds like everybody involved did a phenominal job on getting probes out and getting to business to keep everybody safe. he said ozone rode in just after it happened waving the Canadian flag unaware of what just happened and people were screaming to turn his beacon off if send. I sold my sled last year after the guys in sparwood got hit, and had sledders remorse and bought another sled, just not sure about this anymore. hard to take this kind of news. hope all involved and families of victoms can cope with this and find peace soon. RIP

We also lost a fellow rider yesterday at Priest Lake to another Avi. I am tierd of seeing people die in this sport. I have seen enough. I decided today I am buying a new golf cart and selling the sleds. I'll still be involved but nothing like I was before.
