Reviews on the 3" Power Claw

The 3 PC is the real deal on those super deep days. Come spring time or when the snow settles after a big dump the 2.6 PC is the best All Around track.

we had a bad snow ice layer we had good snow than it rained to the top of the mountain which left us with a 3inch ice layer yea spin out was happening with every track will see what happen this spring. I've seen the 3x spin out on climbing i hope the 3"PC does not do that... I have the TKI belt drive and the 3" PC i would not give one for the other.

I had the opportunity to ride the 162x2.6 and 162x3 on identical 2015 M8s today. 3" sled has 21/49 gearing with 7 tooths. 2.6 has 19/50 with 8 tooths

Big difference with the 3". Feels like it just gets up on the snow and keeps going.

We were riding pretty bottomless snow at 9000 ft and no base and I actually think a guy needs to pull at least 3 grams out. Both sleds had 68s. 2.6 was pulling 7900-8050. 3" sled was around 7600-7700.

63s might even be needed at my elevation

2.6 sled could probably drop to 67s or grind to 66

I have the 153x3 with 19/50 and 7 tooths and 65s. RPM is real close.

What does the stock sled come with for gearing?

Had a very deep day on mine today. Like snow up to windshield when going downhill. Very impressed with the track.

Had an 11 M8 162, 15 M8 153x2.6 and 14 PRO RMK 155 in my group.

My 15 with the 153x3 was a noticeable difference. Seemed to get up on the snow better and just kept going. It was deep enough all 3 of the other sleds managed to get stuck on the flat.

Also, I am running 65 gram weights and mostly ride around 9000 ft. Clutching is spot on.

And you are running stock gearing, 7tooth? What springs u running?

Has anybody run the Challenger X3 and the Powerclaw 3"? Do they have the same characteristics? I plan on getting some time on the Powerclaw later this week for the first time. Rode the X3 all of last year on 2 sleds. Plan on giving a review later if we can find some good snow.

My friend and I both have identical proclimb m8's with RKT 925's. The only difference is I have a 3" powerclaw and he has the 3" camo. Don't notice any difference in deep powder either climbing or boondocking.

I agree with the 3" PC over the belt drive as well. I saw a lot bigger gains with the track over the belt drive

Any others??

Who has the best prices on these tracks?

Also...Has anyone put this on a scale for weight?

Also... What lengths does this track come in ... I see only the 153" on Country Cats site... is that it?
